Mission Partner Update - IMC, January 2024

2023 was a fruitful year for International Mission Connection and it also held a lot of change for the ministry.  With new board members, new donors, and new projects, IMC accomplished more than we could have dreamed for the year.  As one of our donors, we wanted to give you a glimpse of what was accomplished in 2023 because of your contributions.
 

• More than 175 hours of tutoring was provided for remedial students.  In 2023, every student in our remedial program was promoted to the next grade!
• Over 21,000 plates of food were served to children suffering with food insecurity.  The gospel was also shared at every gathering. 
• More than 60 churches and pastors were connected through our efforts.  This broadens the scope of care for the people of Honduras and gives us a network of churches now available for those in pain and/or in need.
• 15 entrepreneurs were taught small business principles and 4 were given micro-loans to fund the start of their small business. 
• 3,520 backpacks were provided for students in Tegucigalpa.
• 120 hours of Biblical counseling for parents who need help and/or support.
• 53 men and women participated in our discipleship groups!
• 230 children received Christmas bags. 
   
  
  As we all know, not all ministry can be quantified so this is just a glimpse of what God accomplished in 2023.  I long for the day we arrive in heaven and are given a comprehensive look at our role in helping the least of these.  For now, we will continue to strive to share the hope found in Jesus with those who need hope the most.
