Mission Partner Update - Graham & Selah Reynolds, January 2026

Hello, all!
We're writing with joyful hearts this month! A seven-year drought has ended this winter, and rain and snow have fallen abundantly, watering the earth. We're starting to see patches of green growing from the dirt all around our city. In the same way, we feel like we're seeing spiritual growth here in really exciting ways. All around us, people are becoming curious and open to the word of God and the love of Christ.
A few highlights from the last month or so:
- I got to know H*, a girl who is super interested in learning more about Jesus after leaving Islam. We've been able to talk a lot about spiritual things, and we had an opportunity to care for her during a difficult situation. She hasn't yet decided to follow Jesus, but as she is learning, she is openly and passionately sharing with her friends! We started reading Matthew together, and she invited one of her best friends to study with us. I continue to be astounded by the depth and spiritual insight of these young people as they experience God's word for the first time. Since we've started reading together, H* and her friend M* are continuing to share what they're learning with their friends, and M* invited his mom to read the bible we gave him. I feel so excited about these guys. We're meeting with them several times a week to study together. Please pray for God to reveal himself and call them into discipleship to Christ.
- John* has been crushing the ministry God has given him. In all his free time, he's meeting with people he meets online who want to learn more about Jesus. We're so happy to see him being fulfilled by this work, and happy to see the fruit of his commitment to evangelism. Pray for him as he navigates family life, school, ministry, and loneliness. Pray that God will give him clarity, wisdom, and direction in all these areas.
- A Moroccan sister I've been close with over the last year has an open door to return to the mountains. She has a vision for planting churches with women in the villages there. Pray for her as she moves back next week and starts her new job, that the openness she's experienced from the people in that village will grow into deep relationships that bear the fruit of the gospel! God has provided this opportunity in his perfect timing.
These are just a few short glimpses of how God is at work here! Another really exciting update is that the WHOLE BIBLE is now translated into Moroccan Darija!!! We are really hoping to get our hands on some copies for our friends as they make their way into the country over the next several months. We've had the New Testament for a while, but I can't wait to begin reading and studying the Old Testament with our friends in their language.
We're doing well. Morocco is finally feeling like home! We've started setting Friday aside as our "weekend" family day since we want to be available for others during the weekend. This rhythm has been great, and we go out for couscous, play scrabble, do chores, and play with Mabel. Mabel is growing so fast. She's now an enthusiastic scooter attempting to explore and eat everything in our apartment. Pray for us!
Summary of how to pray:
- Pray for H*, M*, and R* as they read Matthew and get to know who Jesus is for the first time. Pray that they will be open with their families as they learn, and pray that they will decide to become disciples of Jesus.
- Pray for John, for wisdom to steward his time and relationships well. Pray that his family will receive Christ.
- Pray for S* as she moves back to the mountains with a vision for church planting! Pray for open relationships and open hearts to the gospel. Pray for safety as a single woman.
For those who prayed for wisdom for us and believers to "understand the will of the Lord" and "make the best use of the time", thank you! We feel like we are growing in this and seeing other sisters and brothers follow the Spirit's leading in their lives.
We're grateful for you all.
Selah, Graham, and Mabel
