Happy New Year Friends of E1F1!

2024 started off with great celebration with our annual E1F1 Christmas Party which is celebrated on New Year's Day - complete with a special feast for the community, fireworks, the children acting out the story of Christmas and, of course, gifts...What do gifts of hope that help to build promising futures for the vulnerable children of Tharaka-Nithi look like? NEW BACKPACKS and tools to help them succeed in school! These were just some of the gifts that the children received on this special day because of generous donations from you, our partners in ministry! Thank you for helping us to bring a meaningful Christmas to Tharaka-Nithi!

Here are just a few ways that your support has made a difference in 2023:

-190,835 meals were provided to children who attended Excellent Academy

-An additional 16,320 pupils of neighboring schools were fed for 6 months through our emergency feeding program due to ongoing drought.

-Of the 349 students who attended school on our campus, 173 students received scholarships for school fees.

-We were also able to provide a loving home to 55 students who are orphaned or vulnerable children.

-Over 21,118 patients treated at Thanantu Faith Clinic

-Discipleship opportunities included students from Excellent Academy participating in AWANA Clubs, chapel services and Sunday worship services each week resulting in 12 children baptized, making a public profession of their faith in Jesus Christ.
