Mission Partner Update - The Williamsons, June 2025

Interface Program 2025
This past month, life here in Madang has picked up pace with the arrival of 32 college-aged young adults from the U.S. and New Zealand. They joined us for a five-week, college-level church planting course called Interface—and what a joy it has been!
Over the past four weeks, Nisae and I, along with other Interface staff, have been busy teaching classes on topics such as healthy biblical church planting methodology, the process of church planting from allocation to maturity, language and culture acquisition, discipleship, and Bible translation—all through the lens of church planting in Iski.
Beyond the classroom, we’ve been doing life together—taking students into local villages to practice language learning and sharing our own stories and experiences. It’s been incredibly encouraging to see so many young people setting aside their own plans in obedience to the Great Commission.
Many of them have expressed a strong desire to pursue full-time, cross-cultural church planting as a result of the impact of this program. What a blessing to witness God stirring hearts for the nations!
Heading back to the US!
This week we head back to the U.S.A. to begin a short home assignment! We plan to be stateside until January.
Our goals during this time are to:
-
Rest and recharge
-
Reconnect with our support team & families
-
Share about missions and mobilize others to go
-
Prepare the Iski translation for the final consultant check in October and continue revising the Iski Bible lessons (Romans, Ephesians and 1 Corinthians)
We’re looking forward to all that God has in store during this season and we are excited to spend some time with you all. Please, please let us know if any of you are available and would like to get together.
We continue to be humbled and grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. We can't wait to see you all soon!
Your co-laborers,
Jason & Nisae Williamson
