Mission Partner Update - Camp Grace, June 2026

Sorry that we put May and June together but it is so hard to stop and write during camp. Camp is great this summer. We got all the staff hired just in time and they have been great. God gave us some amazing young men and women for summer camp 2026staff. The first 3 weeks of camp God gave us pleasant weather. It was not too hot and we often had a pleasant breeze during the day. Week 4 was pleasant until the last day when we felt the day quickly heating up. Then week 5 hit us with 90 degree to almost 100 degree temperatures and we have been struggling to get the campers to drink enough water.

All the campers so far this summer have had an awesome camp experience. God has been alive and well every week. The foot washing on Wednesday nights and the gospel presentation on Thursday nights have been incredible. Around 50 campers per week have prayed to receive Christ.

The campers are loving all the fun activities we have for them each week. They love swimming in the pool and lake. They love canoeing in the pond. For many this is their first experience in a boat. Many love going to our petting zoo with goats, chickens, rabbits, and donkeys. They, of course, love crud wars on Thursday afternoon (our organized food fight)!And they especially love playing picklebal. The pickleball courts are a huge success not only with the campers but with the ministry partners. Courtney put together a pickleball tournament for the ministry partners and this has become a highlight of their week. (We have some vicious competitors in our ministry partners!)

We value your prayers for us. Please continue to pray for more salvations as camp 2026 nears the end. Pray for our staff. Camp is great fun but is very tiring. Pray they have as much energy during the last week of camp as they all showed the first week of camp.Pray that all the funds come in for us to pay for all the campers this summer.

Our family is all doing well. They are all going so many different directions this summer. We see them but not like we do during the school year.
