Hello, dear brothers and sisters in Christ! We are rejoicing about so many great things that God is doing here! We are very grateful to Him for having you with us in this ministry!
TRIP TO THE USA!
We three are going to the USA in a few days! We are very grateful to God for this amazing opportunity again. We will get there on Jul 11th and leave on Aug 4th. We will be giving reports, sharing projects and opportunities to serve in Brazil, and visiting our partners – please, if you are available and would like to be with us, email Debi Turner at or text her at (770) 655-9202. Debi, as always, is helping us tremendously by organizing our agenda while there. It will be a great blessing and pleasure to spend time with you! Just let us know! Please, pray for a great trip!
AMERICAN TEAM
We thank God for the American team we had in June! They were from Fellowship Bible Church, in Atlanta, GA, led by Debi Turner. It was a tremendous team, called Legacy Team - parents came with their children! We thank the Lord for everyone who was reached by the Good News and for what God did in the team. Together with our Brazilian missionaries, we worked in the States of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. God gave us incredible meetings! See below what Debi Turner testified about this trip,
“Over 25 yrs ago I co-lead a parent/child trip to Brazil, where our son accompanied me. It changed his life, as it did mine positively toward missions. This year I lead a Legacy Trip back to Brazil with parents and their children ages 13 & 14. We saw huge growth in each teen (and their Moms as well) in their prayer life, how to better listen to the Holy Spirit, their relationships with their Moms, interaction with the Brazilian students, and general camaraderie with both our team and the Brazilian team. Additionally, our faith was enlarged through a couple of true miracles… may God be glorified!
We presented Jesus during 19 meetings in elementary schools, middle schools, and orphanages, and almost 1800 Brazilians heard the gospel! Many received Jesus for the first time. One of our teens wanted to know how he could give money to our missionaries, AND even asked how missionaries are trained, because he was interested.
Although I absolutely love our Amazon River mission trips reaching indigenous villages in Brazil, God has touched my heart that the Legacy Teams are our future.”
WP BRAZIL MISSION CONTROL PROJECT
The Mission Control Project is going on! Some more people have contributed, and so we are advancing! Thank the Lord! Thank you very much for each one of you who has given for that – may God bless you!
As we have been sharing, it will represent a tremendous step to facilitate and improve our work. As the ministry is growing in Brazil, and we are developing many projects, the place where the ministry is based today (our home) is becoming smaller. The Be Amazing growth has been another thing that makes the need of a mission base bigger. It will help a lot in the management of our ministry and in the development of our projects.
Please, let us know if you have any questions concerning it! We trust the Lord for a miracle to do it. Please, pray with us for the provision of this project.
SCHOOLS
Praise the Lord for the so many meetings we had in schools in the last two months! God gave us so many opportunities with elementary, middle and high school students. We had wonderful meetings!
In one high school meeting at night, the coordinator asked us for help. He was not Christian, but he said that he was open for any help with the students. We could see he didn’t know anymore what to do. He asked us about any churches close by that could help him; some pastor who could provide assistance and even go to pray at the school. Unbelievable how open he was! So, we are working to connect him with a church that is located very close to the school. Please, pray for God to use that church to bless this school! Right after we talked, we spoke to the students – and how wonderful this meeting was! God worked powerfully. They were very attentive in each word. It was very encouraging to see in their faces how they were connected. We are sure the Gospel spoke strongly to some of them. Praise the Lord!
BE AMAZING BRAZIL
May was a month of presence, training, and expansion in the Northeast of Brazil. It was very fruitful! Camila and some women of her team spent 10 days with Be Amazing leaders in Salvador (a big city in the Northeast), starting with 4 days of ministry at a women’s conference, where lives were deeply impacted through practical messages on identity, purpose, and service.
Following that, they held 6 full days of regional training for Be Amazing discipleship leaders. Women from across the Northeast gathered for a time of training to use the Bible studies, tools, and ministry resources in their own churches and communities. It was a powerful time of teaching, connection, and spiritual awakening.
Other things Be Amazing Brazil is doing: administrative and strategic meetings with their leadership team; progressing on the new book, set to be released later this year; recording new episodes of The Amazing Cast, filled with encouraging and insightful content for women; online training for new leaders seeking to implement Be Amazing discipleship in their churches, small groups, and communities.
Also, in August, they are going to have a women’s retreat in Atlanta, where they will train 12 women going from Brazil. Camila’s team is going as well to work on this retreat alongside Traci Martin and her team. Please, pray for God’s guidance and for Him to use all of them for His Glory!
