Mission Partner Update - IMC, Nov. 2025

Posted January 07, 2026

Every season of thanksgiving requires reflection.  As our board recently reflected on our ministry efforts in 2025, we were amazed to see how God used you to accomplish so much. I want to take a moment to share some of those insights with you, our donors.

  • 35 men consistently participated in Bible study.  Families were transformed as men grew in their desire to lead their families with integrity.
  • 39 women consistently attended Bible study.  Ladies were led in a Bible study specifically designed for women and they thrived.  We saw women begin to see themselves as God sees them and they were changed!
  • IMC hosted a marriage conference for pastors and church leaders.  Church leaders from 19 churches attended the conference and 5 of those churches went on to use the materials from the conference in teaching their church bodies.
  • IMC has spent the last few years working hard to build relationships with local churches.  This year IMC engaged 19 local (in Honduras) churches!  This  brings our total to 79 engaged churches since the start of this initiative.
  • 23,000 plates of food were served to hungry children through our feeding programs.
  • 150 backpacks were given to students at the beginning of the 2025 school year.
  • IMC's School of Hope had 100% of its students promoted to the next grade.
  • Our 2 college scholarship recipients completed their first semester of college.
  • With the help of Fellowship Bible Church - Roswell, IMC was able to restore and replace broken portions of the security fence protecting students, teachers, and property.  The over 26 foot fence now stands strong, protecting people and property from harm.

2025 did bring a few unexpected challenges our way.  Heavy rains in October brought devastating damage to Reynel Funez.  Reynel is a community of about 15,000 people with one paved road used to enter and exit.  A large portion of the road was washed away (see video below) leaving residents without access to food and water.  Six families were left homeless and had to find refuge in the school.  IMC was able to provide food and water and other necessary resources to those in need.  Repair efforts are moving slowly, making this a long term ministry effort for the foreseeable future.

Your contributions are vital to continue our ministry efforts.  Our budget is tight with little margin for the unexpected, making your contributions so important.  The non profit world was hit hard during the covid pandemic and has been battling to recover ever since.  According to churchanswers.com, more than 15,000 churches will close by the end of 2025.  We recognize that dedicated and sacrificial givers are hard to come by and we consider ourselves blessed by your generosity.

Humbled by your commitment,

Rhonda Blanchard
