Mission Partner Update - Dave and Susie Pridemore, June 2025

We have completed 4 weeks of camp and it has proved to be an awesome month. The weather has been pretty good. We have been able to do almost everything we had planned. The campers have had a wonderful time. We have had around 400 decisions for Christ and the Lord is rejoicing. The staff has done an excellent job this summer.
One week we didn't have a mission team. This means that we all must pitch in and help serve food and clean up after meals, help set up and tear down games, lead the art activity, do laundry, and help anywhere else extra hands are needed. We managed and the campers and ministry partners didn't notice anything unusual but we were all tired when the week was over. This helps us really appreciate our mission teams more every week.
We have an added attraction this summer. We have some new pigs and new goats as well as several horses. All the campers get a chance to spend some time with our new additions to the camp. They love this experience.
The water is still a big hit at camp. The campers either go to the lake or the pool every day. They love both. Crud wars (a food fight) is still a favorite event every summer. (don't know why!!!) The worship time and the teaching has been special to see this summer. Our theme this summer is truth vs lies and the theme verse is Psalm 86:11-12.
We want the campers to realize that the enemy wants them to believe lies about themselves. He wants them to believe that they are someone other than God says they are. (We are not the caterpillars. We are the beautiful butterfly that God has created.)
We also teach the campers that God wants us to serve others. We show serving by using the example that Jesus gave us of washing others' feet. We then wash their feet and put a new pair of socks and shoes on their feet. This year we were able to get Shak shoes for them thanks to Shaquille O'Neal helping us get them. We are grateful for this and the campers were excited for these shoes. We have had many come and help wash the campers' feet. We thank everyone who has come to make this a special night for the kids.
Please pray for continued success this summer at camp. We have had a great start. Pray for a great finish to the summer. Pray that all the money needed for camp comes in for us to pay all the bills for camp. God has been faithful every year and we are confident He will provide this year also.
Our family is doing well. We are all very busy but enjoying the summer. Basketball and baseball has been on our schedules. Wedding plans are going well. Everyone is glad school is out.
We love and appreciate you.
In God's grace,
Dave and Susie Pridemore
