Mission Partner Update - The Mayers, April 2025

We are so thankful for each of you! Your prayers, kind words, and investment in what God is doing are such a blessing to us and to so many others! Amy has especially been encouraged as she's trying to take her thoughts captive and trust God to bring resolution to the complex situation we shared about in our last update! Progress has been made, but prayers are still needed as the work is still in process.
KSU Spring Break (March 8-12) KSU took almost 80 students to Panama City Beach where, among other things, they heard seniors give talks on practical ways to come alongside people on their spiritual journeys. We included a sharing time on the last evening - it was so fun to hear stories of how students took steps of faith that week to initiate spiritual conversations with people on the beach, and were surprised and encouraged to find that so many people were open to talking about their spiritual lives.
A Transformed Life - Cooper was one of the seniors who spoke to our group. As he talked about helping others grow in their faith, he shared his own story about giving his life to Jesus as a sophomore, and how other guys in the room had helped him grow. As he anticipates graduating in December, he's investing in younger guys who'll be able to continue to invest in other students after he's gone.
To the Ends of the Earth - The scope of Paul's role has him involved with campuses all over the country and around the world as he helps lead the US Campus Ministry into Asia and Oceania. This area has the most Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and atheists on earth. As you might guess, some are wide open for campus "partnerships", while others are really difficult to get into or aren't ready for us yet. We're currently in the process of opening up two brand new countries for the US campus ministry! (One of these is seeing a 30% response rate to the Gospel on their campuses!) We're also re-launching one that has been closed since the pandemic, and unfortunately need to close one due to political and security concerns. Please pray that God will direct us and there will be significant fruit in each country.
"Thank-A-Prof" Outreach - Last month we had three Christian professors speak at our Cru weekly meeting about how students can spiritually impact their professors.
One of the most practical and tangible applications for our students was to write thank you notes to professors who had positively impacted them. We provided the stationary at the end of the meeting and we now have 120 notes to deliver to professors! Please pray that these deliveries will encourage and surface Christian faculty, as well as represent a positive and meaningful witness to the faculty who don't know Jesus!
Serving Him with you, Paul + Amy
