Mission Partner Update - Fran Gregory, May 2025

Most people choose verses from the New Testament when they ponder during Holy Week and reflect on the impact of what Jesus has done for us. For me, however, this verse from the book of Job is a beautiful reminder that God’s plan for mankind‘s salvation has been in place from the beginning.  Before God manifested himself in human form through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Job was already looking forward to his redeemer standing on earth. After the resurrection of Jesus and his ascension into heaven, believers look forward to the day when he will return and stand on the Earth once more, making everything new and right. Each reflection on that stone being rolled away and the tomb being empty brings us one more prayer and praise closer to that glorious day… and my heart sings “Come, Lord Jesus, come!”

This is a relational ministry that exists to serve God by reaching the lost, loving and caring for the least of these, and making disciple makers.

Being obedient to the Lord’s call and guidance through prayer and trusting in God’s provision, ministry is taking place domestically and internationally through partnerships with Christ-centered organizations and local churches.

Through spirit-led relational opportunities to disciple and share the gospel, the lost are being found, the discouraged are being lifted up, and those whom Christ loves are discovering who He is and who they are to Him as they are gently led into the fold of the body of Christ.

As you know, I have been called into Germany primarily but also to Zambia and other countries as well. The Lord guides by opening and closing doors. After much prayer, I had thought that I would be returning to Zambia in June. The Lord, however, had different plans and made it very clear that my role on the team going to Zambia was to provide supplies and some input. Financially, however, the door was closed on me physically joining them.

After closing the door on the Zambian trip, the Lord opened wide the door to the path He wanted me to walk on next…. It became very clear that the Lord‘s plans are for me to return to Germany for another 2 to 2 1/2 month service period beginning in mid-May.

The funding for the flight and lodging while I’m in Köln has already been secured. Much like the previous trip I will be working with people in Köln, Berlin, Bielefeld, Ahlen, Wuppertal, and potentially Munich, Vienna (Austria) & Kirshberg (Switzerland).

I will potentially need lodging in Vienna and Kirchberg as well as the long-distance train costs to get to the areas that are not local to Köln.  I am still working out logistics and travel schedules, but will keep you all posted when the itinerary is solidified.  I will send details about all of this in the next newsletter, however, prayers for the preparations and logistics to be worked out in a short period of time would be much appreciated.

I am so very thankful for your prayers and continued sustaining support.  These obedient, generous provisions of your time and gifts enable me to continue in the Lord's service.  Here is a summarized list of prayer and praise requests:

  • I would really appreciate advance prayers covering the service time in Europe.
  • Pray that "A" and his family remain encouraged as they continue to seek approval for asylum status in Germany.
  • Lift “L” in Vienna whom I have continued working with and will see when I am in Europe.
  • Please continue praying for the women and children that the Lord has led me to in Zambia.  The return trip that was scheduled for one-on-one discipleship time has been postponed due to financial limitations.
  • Thank you for your prayers for Jessica!  She continues to grow in her faith and is actively seeking ways to deepen her walk with the Lord.
  • Pray for Cuba.   Pray for the people. Pray for the church. Pray that the means and availability to return there will solidify.
  • Sustaining monthly support still needs to be recovered.  In order to be fully supported, I need approximately 30 people to commit to $100 per month in sustaining support.  Please consider joining my monthly support team so that I can continue to serve without worry.  Please also pray that existing supporters remain committed with their ongoing gifts.
  • On a personal note, I need your prayers for my health and upcoming family changes.  My bloodwork has improved, but there is still work to do.  I continue to lose weight to help with this and need prayers to keep going!  I am still having to work with a dermatologist regarding bad skin cells, but it is under control.   Additionally, I now have to undergo a procedure for internal areas to be tested. This procedure will most likely occur after I return from Germany.
  • We are still working on transitioning my mother with as little stress as possible.  Pray for her heart as this is a difficult and emotional season of life change for her.
