Joy Box Packing Party

Join us for the Joy Box Packing Party on Sunday, December 8th from 4-5:30pm in the Student Center.

This will be a wonderful time to celebrate, fellowship, pray, and finish the preparation of our boxes before they are delivered to the schools.  We are excited to have the Principals from Hembree Springs and Vickery Mill joining us again this year to share a little about their schools and who will receive these Joy Boxes.

During our event, we will apply decorative labels and color notes before praying for the children and families receiving these boxes.

We look forward to a time of celebration, service, fellowship, and enjoying a few cookies and hot cocoa too!

Advent in Your Neighborhood

Fellowship Family, It’s your turn!

Over the last 3 Advent seasons our elders have led the way in creating evangelistic Advent gatherings that introduce our neighbors to Jesus. These Advent gatherings have been a unique way for us to spread the joy of Advent beyond our church walls. We’ve met in parks, on playgrounds, in pool houses, and clubhouses. We’ve even had cajun inspired Christmas in a local neighborhood.

Our elders have led the way and given us a roadmap for engaging our neighborhoods. This year, we’re doing something different. This year we want to invite YOU to host your own Advent party in your neighborhood. Gather your family, invite your neighbors and friends and set the table for the people around you to experience Jesus. It doesn’t need to be grand. It simply needs to be warm and accessible.

Fellowship family, its your turn this Advent season to live out our purpose of everyone everywhere experiencing Jesus. Want to throw a cul de sac Advent bash? Great! Want to sing carols in your living room with your neighbors? Awesome! Want to meet at a local park to let the kids play and tell the Advent story? Fantastic!

However God leads you to engage your neighbors this season do it. We can’t wait to celebrate all that God does through Advent in YOUR neighborhood.

Let us know where your gathering will be, and we'll post them here on the Advent page for others to find!
