Mission Partner Update - The Pridemores, April 2025

This month was a busy one. We had some very successful retreats this month. We ended with welcoming almost 400 students and staff from YWAM who were located out of Kona, Hawaii. They started flying in from all over the world after being on the mission field for several months. The first group arrived on the 28th and will be with us for almost 2 weeks. It is a great time for them to rest, debrief, and relax before they return to their homes. It is an honor to serve these young people.
During this same time, we were busy bringing about 15 loads of steel from Thomaston, GA, that was given to us to build another building at Camp Grace. This is a huge endeavor. This material was donated to us, and we are excited to get it. We are praying now about what will be the best use of this building. We believe that God is giving it to us so we can have more beds for kids. We are praying now to get our direction from God.
We are also very busy interviewing and hiring for our summer staff for summer 2025! It's hard to believe that camp is just around the corner. Things are going well. We need about 7 more guys and 7 more girls to complete our team of counselors for the summer. Cece already has her team (called kitchies) for the kitchen. We are hiring lifeguards, a ropes team, and a program team, too. It is also very important that we have mission teams for every week of camp and other volunteers to come and help camp move smoothly. The more volunteer hands we have, the more energy our staff will have for the kids all summer.
We are hard at work raising money for all the campers to come to camp. Please pray that many individuals and companies will be led to give to Camp Grace to sponsor kids to camp. We are also reaching out to people and churches to help with the foot washing on Wednesday night of each week of camp and to pay for the shoes and socks that we put on the kids' feet after the foot washing.
Our family is doing great. We all have a very busy schedule trying to juggle work, school, and all the other outside activities the kids are involved in. But we wouldn't trade this for anything. We are honored that God has allowed us to be a part of His ministry called Camp Grace. We love the family- kids and grandkids- God has given us. We love and cherish every minute we are with them. God is good. We see how He cares about every detail of our lives.
We thank you for your support, your prayers, and your finances. We could not be part of this ministry without your help
We love and appreciate you so much.
In His love and grace,
Dave and Susie Pridemore
