For children entering grades 1 through 6 for school year 2017-2018
Camp hours 9:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday
We offer Celebrate Summer to the community to celebrate the good news of Jesus kid-style and to impress on a kid's heart a love for God and one another. Celebrate Summer is based on our church campus and includes some classes or events away from the church. Fun age-appropriate activities are provided in a caring atmosphere supervised and taught by adults with the assistance of teen helpers.
Celebrate Summer has two age divisions:
Grades 1 and 2--Campers stay with the same teacher and class group every day with many planned activities and learning opportunities, including one swim excursion and an off-campus trip.
Grades 3 through 6--Campers are assigned to a homebase class for the beginning of the day, the middle of the day activities, and the end of the day. Campers in grades 3 through 6 choose from a variety of elective classes, according to their interests. Possible elective classes: crazy fun science, building and racing soap box cars, building and launching rockets, swimming, art, cooking, sewing, basketball, soccer, legos.
All classes will participate in a Fun Friday which includes a Soap Box Derby, a Chick-fil-A lunch, and a water field day with inflatable water slides.
Registration will open on Tuesday morning, April 25, between 7:30 and 8 am.
Classes for 1st and 2nd grade are full and closed at this time. Any 1st or 2nd graders registered will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a place comes open.
