Mission Partner Update - The Pridemores, March 2025

The new year started strong! Richard and Nicole and their 5 children came down from Canada to help with the ministry and to learn from being hands-on with Camp Grace so they can lead Camp Grace Canada better. They should be a great help to us here for now. Richard is doing a lot to help organize the maintenance side. He owns a landscape company in Canada and does property management so we should be able to help each other.
We were able to get the outside of the fort replaced with hardy plank siding. It looks great but it is not paid for yet. The company was so good to let us pay over the next few months. The side was getting bad and we were afraid that water would begin to leak into the building and then we would have bigger problems. God is so good to keep putting people in our lives to help in some way.
Retreats are going strong. We had a couple to rest but the rest of the retreat season is coming fast and furious. February and March are packed with some of our biggest retreats. One weekend we have 2 retreats at the same time and then YWAM comes and there are almost 400 people here for 14 days.
Our family is doing great. The Samford group just finished Step Sing at the end of last month. Everyone did such a good job. Step Sing is such a fun time for everyone. The students put lots of hours into getting ready for it. Our other grandkids are busy with basketball and gymnastics. Kate is still loving teaching math in Charleston, SC. It's hard to believe we have one married and 2 more engaged to be married. We have 2 out of college, one ready to graduate college this spring, and one ready to graduate high school. These are busy times for us with our grandkids. We love every minute of it. We're not old - we just had kids at a really young age.
Please pray for our summer staff. Carrie and Lucas are busy interviewing and hiring staff. Our summer staff is the strength of our summer program. God has been good every other summer so we know He will send us the best this summer. We also ask you to pray for our finances. The more buildings we get, the more repairs we have. Please pray that people feel led to send money to help pay for the new siding on the fort. We also need to increase and replace items in the dining hall. We really need to replace our dishwashers as well. They were old when we got them and they need to be repaired frequently. Pray that God will send us the right deal to help us with this.
We pray for you and your families often. We lean on your prayers in this ministry. We could not do this without you. Thanks for your support.
We love you and appreciate you.
In His love and grace,
Dave and Susie Pridemore
