This Bible study explores the letters of John, emphasizing the importance of apostolic authority, the simplicity of the gospel, and the call to abide in Christ amidst a world of growing darkness.
The message is clear: Jesus is both fully God and fully human, the Light of the world and the only path to salvation. John draws a firm line between light and darkness, truth and deception, love and hate. There is no middle ground in the Christian life—either we walk in the light of Christ, or we remain in shadow.
This study considers how John's warnings and encouragements remain relevant today. In a world consumed by idolatry and disconnection, the letters of John call us back to the simplicity of the gospel, to a life of joy, integrity, and abiding love in Jesus Christ.
