BE THEIR VOICE...

The Atlanta Mission transforms, through Christ, those lives living in the margin.
BE THEIR VOICE on January 21 as you serve meals to women and children at My Sister’s House, and men at the Shepherd’s Inn. More than providing food, we will work alongside Atlanta Mission clients, engaging in conversation, and just listening. These things open doors to cultivate Christ-centered community that is so desperately needed. Volunteers must be 16 years or older.
6:00 am – Breakfast - My Sister’s House, 921 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta
10:30 am – Lunch - My Sister’s House, 921 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta
6:00 am - Breakfast - Shepherd’s Inn, 165 Ivan Allen Blvd. NW, next to Centennial Olympic Park
11:00 am – Lunch - Shepherd’s Inn, 165 Ivan Allen Blvd. NW, next to Centennial Olympic Park
All volunteers will need to attend training, led by Richard Hopkins from Atlanta Mission, on Sunday, January 20, 12:45-1:30, at Fellowship in room 202. If you are unable to attend the training, information will be emailed to you.
Vertical Church in Atlanta
We will partner with Vertical Church on January 21 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm to work at North Metro GNETS, 601 Beckwith Ct. SW, Atlanta, a school that serves children and youth with special needs. You can BE THEIR VOICE by participating in a community garden project, clearing off the grounds, as well as miscellaneous support. Volunteers should be prepared to be outside, so dress accordingly. All ages are invited, and lunch will be served.
