We take seriously Jesus' commission to go to the whole world (Acts 1:8) - including all areas of our own city - and we imitate His model of preaching the gospel in both word and deed. Here are opportunities to share the love of Jesus!

The HOPE Center / Woodstock: Serve opportunities are available for individuals and groups of adults and supervised children over age 10. The HOPE Center provides training for individuals eager to serve as Client Advocates, Greeters, Receptionists and Data Entry Volunteers. Come be a voice for life in our community! The Seeds Thrift Store, located next to The HOPE Center, needs volunteers to help sort and prepare the gently-used items we receive so that they can be purchased either by HOPE Center clients or by the public. All funds from Seeds sales are used to further the provision of Help, Hope and Healing by The HOPE Center.
City of Refuge / Atlanta: Greet and serve meals to homeless women and children residing at Eden Village. Light landscaping projects, organizing, building projects, or cleaning – based on ability of volunteer. Saturday 9 am–4 pm (as scheduled). Family Friendly Project – age 15+.
Drake House / Roswell: Provides a short-term crisis and housing program for homeless single mothers and their children in North Metro Atlanta. They have educational, empowerment, and mentoring programs to assist families.
Living 1:27 Foster Care: Become a Foster Family - Provide unconditional love, care, food, and shelter to children in distress. Be a Foster Care Respite Family - Support foster families by loving, caring, feeding, and providing shelter as needed. Provide Foster Family Support - individuals and groups are needed to assist families with meals, tutoring, transportation, etc. Foster Care Support Foundation / Roswell: Volunteers are needed for the 115 Mansell Place FCSF Distribution Center on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Times to help at the Fostering Hope Bargain Resale Store at 608 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Suite 210, Roswell GA 30076 are Mondays through Saturdays from 10am - 5pm.
Open Hand Atlanta: Volunteers are needed to pack and deliver meals.
North Fulton Community Charities: Food Pantry - Volunteers are needed to receive and sort food donations, stock shelves and distribute food to clients. Volunteers are encouraged to work a four hour morning or afternoon shift once per week. Substitutes are also needed. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm; Tuesday 9:00am - 8:00pm. Thrift Shop - Volunteers are needed to receive donations, sort donations, stock and staff the Thrift Shop. Volunteer hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am-8:00 pm and Saturday 9:30am - 8:00pm. On-Site Projects: Occasionally they need groups to assist with landscaping, outdoor cleaning, painting and other small jobs.
Papa's Pantry: Volunteers provide food assistance, mentoring, stability training, Bible studies and more. Family friendly project - age 8+.
Star House Help a Child: Volunteers help students with their homework and challenge their academic potential. You can read to or listen to a child read; help students review for a test; check homework for accuracy, or tutor a child in your favorite subject. Other ways you can volunteer: lead a snack or school supply drive, create craft projects for holidays, speak to our students about your profession, life/study skills, or hobby!
